Re: [WIP] Corwyn's Fantasy Figures
Okies here's a few fantasy figures related mods y'all have probably missed. Sorry I had to make several pick heavy posts... Bare with me please.

I worked on these for a very, very long time.* They're not perfect, but my feeling was that I needed to get them out there before something else happened to my computer. * *As it is I've redone the female textures about five times, the last one being for the Fantasy Figures Beta with the lovely, lovely muscle map provided by team leader Daede.
CONTENTS:
This mod contains:
-Eight Arachnalian races for Robert's Male Bodies and Fantasy Figures Beta.* Each race has fangs, eight eyes, and four extra arms sprouting from the shoulder region.* The arms do move with player movement but are not painted completely to the player's arms in order to prevent distortion.* They're in the tongue slot so you can still use tailslot jewelry and so on.
-One or more sets of eye colors for each race.* Currently all eight eyes will be the selected design, as I couldn't find a way around this without making the filesize even more huge (by adding further extra races the way the Mystic Elf mods do).
-Six Hairstyles by Capucine which are also in the Cosmetic Compilation.* See conflict info below.
-One optional set of worksafe underwear for the females (body replacement only, not clothing).* This is the one they are wearing in the screenshots below.* The males are wearing underwear that came with Robert's Bodies as an option.* Again, the underwear are not a default part of the mod and are optional; all races have anatomically complete textures.
These are in the pictures because a)I don't want to lose my photobucket account and b)I do not consider the genital/nipple areas of the texture negotiable and do not want to discuss them.* I do use nude versions and full body textures and have no problem with others doing so.
-Sixteen savegames, one for each sex and each race.* These are provided because facegen doesn't really work with the arms in the tongue slot (you can't see their faces in facegen).* See instructions down below for face copying.
-Sixteen companions, one of each sex and race.* These use the Cutthroat Mods Partners scripts and are tagged essential to prevent any fatal accidents (given the eccentric behavior typical of said scripts, believe me, you'll thank me later).* They are found in the Mages' Guilds around Cyrodiil, except for the Smithids which are in the Chorrol Fighters' Guild.
LORE:
The Daedra Prince Mephala is displeased with his/her creations the spider daedra.* (The Spinner's gender has varied between Elder Scrolls games and is vague in Oblivion.)* They are chaotic, aggressive, and uncontrollable, completely the opposite of the Webspinner's devious and careful nature.* Mephala therefore sought out the arachnid species of Tamriel and transformed some of them into his/her own image, overturning in the process their original shapes and matriarchal lifestyles.* In accordance with Mephala's ineffable plan, the Arachnalians are free to serve whom they please, but most continue to worship the Spinner as the deity who understands them best.
The races of Tamriel will most often find the Arachnalians freakish, with their multiple eyes and arms.* In deference to Mephala, they are sworn to think before acting, but are not afraid to kill when it serves a definite purpose.* Indeed, as some of nature's most perfect killers, they are quite good at it.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Some version of Robert's Male Bodies.* I made these with the Average body.* Robert kept his maps more or less the same for different ones, so you should be able to use these fairly well with the bulky, slender, etc. just fine.
-Fantasy Figures Beta.* This is an Unofficial Fantasy Figures mod, hence the UFF designation at the top.
-Custom Race Fix.* Most people will already have this with other mods, but if you don't, you need it to start a new game.* Again, this shouldn't be necessary with the savegames, but just in case.
-Wrye Bash and Tes4Gecko, if you have other cosmetic mods or want to create your own face instead of using an included savegame.*
CONFLICTS/KNOWN ISSUES:
-Almost certainly conflicts with Beautiful People, because let's face it, everything does.* Will also conflict with any other cosmetic mods (meaning any mod that includes new hair or eyes or both).* You can still use it with those by merging them using Tes4Gecko or a similar program.* If you are using the Cosmetic Compilation or any Capucine hair mod, this one must be first in merge order.
-Body textures won't look right with any body mods other than Robert's and FF Beta.* And no, I am not making the textures for Exnem's, BAB or anything else with a UV map I like less than the FF one.* Nothing personal, I just don't want the extra work.
-Facegen is basically nonfunctional for these eight races - that's why I included savegames.* The new arms are in the tongue slot, which frees up the tail for jewelry and clothes but makes the characters display "hovering" with their heads invisible.* This will NOT affect any other races you use.
You can still add your own faces, but you'll have to do it by creating the face in a different race or in the CS and using Wrye Bash's "import face" feature to copy it to your savegame.
PICS AND RACE DESCRIPTIONS. Most bonuses are small and stats relatively balanced.
Audax:
Curious, quick and aggressive, the Audax are a fierce race.* Though their coloration is cryptic in the dark, where they can see well, they prefer to overcome their prey through speed and uncanny agility.* Based on P. audax, the daring jumping spider, which sneaks up and pounces on prey in midair rather than building webs.*
Bonuses to speed and agility; not very strong or good at magic.* Skill bonus in Hand to Hand, Athletics, Light Armor, Illusion, Security, and Block.* Height .95/weight 1.0; stocky.* Arachnalians of both sexes are the same size as a concession to the fact that humanoids have larger males, but spiders always have larger females.
Audaxes are generally named after the order in which they were created or born and a trait they find appealing or apt - Valiant First, Curious Third, Broken Last.*

Black Widows name themselves after poisons as a warning to those who would take advantage of their physical limitations - Curare, Acqua Toffa, Cyan.
Bonuses to intelligence and willpower; not fast or strong.* Skill bonus in alchemy, alteration, destruction, illusion, mysticism, restoration, and light armor.* (May be changed later as my Sibling 2 enjoys playing hers in the Sorceror class with heavy armor as a major skill.)* Height 1.0/weight .95; slim.

Young Widow:
Young Black Widows have a different color scheme from their elders, but they are no less deadly.* Same racial bonuses/size as adult Black Widows, different texture and faces set more youthful.* Based on the lovely black/gold/white color scheme that some immature members of the species Latrodectus malecans have.
Generally named after life cycle stages of insects and arachnids - Proto, Deuto, Trito, Instar.*

Metepeiran:
Unlike most Arachnalians, Metepeirans were once a colonial race and are thus very social.* Their building skill is unequalled, and their manual dexterity makes them expert with many types of weapons.* Based on the genus Metepeira, some of the world's only colonial web-building spiders.* They have taken to the society of man, mer and beast more easily than others of the Arachnalian races.
Prefer to name themselves after things related to architecture and building - Andiron, Gable, Ashlar, Fontaine.
Slight bonuses to personality, speed, agility and endurance; skill bonuses in Athletics, Acrobatics, Blade, Blunt, Block, Marksman, and Light Armor. Height 1.0/weight 1.0; average.

Lyssomanes:
The vivid coloration of this Salticid race once camouflaged them in a leafy, arboreal habitat, where the vivid eye patterns on their skin served to confuse and frighten their enemies.* Lyssomanids are a subtler and more contemplative race than most Arachnalians.* Based on Lyssomanes viridis, another jumping spider (same family as P. audax) whose unusual coloration protects it even from spiders which hunt other spiders. Another pounce-hunter that doesn't build webs to catch prey.
Because their odd looks have kept them alive for so long, they tend to name themselves after things that are green or related to the color - Sward, Verdure, Jealousy, Emerald.
Bonuses to Intelligence, Personality, Endurance.* Skill bonus in Athletics, Acrobatics, Restoration, Light Armor, Blade, Sneak, and Mysticism.* Height 1.0/weight 1.0; average.

Tarantula:
The largest of the Arachnalian races.* Tarantulas are not very swift, but their strength is unequalled.* For the most part a quiet, cheerful people, they are fearsome when angered.* Based, of course, on the large, primitive spiders native to desert and tropical climes, though more on the burrowing than arboreal species.* Catches prey by slowly stalking and seizing it, also sometimes eats prey whole (other spiders puncture and suck).* One of few races in which females seldom harmed their mates even before their transfiguration.
The Tarantulas are not a colorful race, but they love colors and tend to name themselves after them - Viridian, Ochre, Crimson, Teal.
Bonuses to strength, endurance, and slightly to personality.* Skill bonuses in Heavy Armor, Blunt, Block, Restoration, and Speechcraft.* Height 1.2/weight 1.3; very large and sturdy.

Smithid:
This race is a little stockier and considerably more hirsute than their Tarantula cousins.* Brightly marked to warn off enemies, they are for the most part very friendly and reserve their great strength for food gathering (a time-consuming proposition in a giant race).* Based on Brachypelmas smithi, the Mexican Red-Kneed Tarantula (also called Orange-Kneed dep. on region).* Requested by AlienSlof.
Same stats and bonuses as Tarantulas.* Height 1.15/weight 1.3; not as tall as Tarantulas but entirely as thick.

Thomisid:
(SickleYield's personal favorite. )* Swift, stealthy, and deadly with blades and poisons, Thomisids are feared by other Arachnalian races as assassins and killers from ambush.* Based on the family Thomisidae, which contains the crab spiders that lie camoflagued on plants and flowers (including white, hence the color scheme).* Most spiders fear stinging insects and will release them from a web rather than risk being stung to death; some are victimized by parasitic wasps or hunted as prey.* However, the Thomisid's broad embrace is often the last thing an unsuspecting bee or wasp ever sees. Their stealth, patience and reflexes render webs superfluous.
The Thomisids take their genetic predispositions very seriously and name themselves after bladed weapons - Katar, Bokken, Ulu, Khopesh, Shiv.
Bonus to intelligence, speed and agility.* Skill bonus in Acrobatics, Security, Sneak, Blade, Armorer, Light Armor, and Alchemy.* Good fit to the Assassin class.* Height 1.0/weight 1.0; average.

Variant 1: (Not pictured)
Variant 2:
Variant 3 (this is what my character First Gate is):

Lore:
People often die near Oblivion Gates.* This is a known fact.
A little less well known is the fact that sometimes, they rise again.
It takes a powerful will to bind a revenant to this plane without the intervention of necromancy, though it is likely the chaotic nature of daedric magic is also a factor in the resurrection.* Either way, the will that is powerful enough to drag the living soul back into the dead body also keeps dead flesh from decaying.* They feel no pain, they need no sleep, and they are ungoverned by any earthly desire or need.* They may attach themselves to a cause, but this is a little less likely given that the living don't generally like them much and they are mistrustful of other Undeads.* They pity and loathe traditional zombies almost as much as they themselves are pitied and loathed by men and mer.
Roleplaying:
While the experience of death is unforgettable, these revenants often don't remember much prior to it.* Thus, they often name themselves after the first object they see or remember - hence the name First Gate, who called herself after what killed her (the first Oblivion gate she ever entered).* My sister has a character of this race called Mossy Wall because she woke in the cell where her body was thrown.* And so on.
It's not impossible for them to have the desire to eat living flesh, but this would be merely a preference rather than a need.* They have no physical needs other than occasional proximity to a source of magicka.* Will is what drives them.
Stats:
Similar to Imperial with small changes.* Revenants of this type are a little stronger than Imperials and have a bonus to Destruction instead of Speechcraft; they have low Personality, since they don't get along well with the living.* They have a racial ability called Dead Don't Breathe that prevents them from drowning underwater.* Since unlike traditional zombies, they are neither preserved nor decaying, they are not unusually vulnerable to fire.
Similar in size and shape to default Imperial.

Re: [WIP] Corwyn's Fantasy Figures
Hey Gang,
The three base files have been updated to v051b with natural textures,
Body Meshes and Textures.
Armour Meshes and Textures.
Clothing Meshes and Textures.
However the combination pack which includes all of the above I have been trying to upload for the past 48hours and TESNexus is rejecting it each time without any explanation, I have contacted the site owner to try and work out what is going on and will hopefully get it sorted A.S.A.P. I was holding off announcements etc until then.
All in all its being a real pain, but there is nothing to stop you from downloading the latest versions individually if you want; it's the same content just over three files instead of the far more manageable single archive.
On a more whiney note, this has been the perfect crap ending to a nightmare of a week suggesting the return of the curse is in full effect but that is my problem not yours and I am doing my best not to let the latest string of events get in the way of my work for FF.
Anyway the site will go live when things get sorted with Nexus etc and I will be making all the anouncements then.
By the way this update looks to be an intermediary one at best as allready a number of issues have cropped up that need to be addressed so please bear with me as I try to wrestle things back into some sort of order.
Cheers,
Daede.
